How do I train my dog to Stop Barking so much??
She barks at everything! Sometimes she listens to me when I cry to her to stop. I do not mind its barking, but constant Barking Control must cease. It is the noisiest dog in the neighborhood. What can I do for his train to stop barking? I want to let him know he is OK, but only in small quantities. Please give me your suggestions and experiences. Thank you:)
Get a tin can and put rocks or logs in and when started barking and severely shake the can say no. When He stops to say good girl. They tend to hate the sound of the box. I have dogs home for our local shelter and help ensure they remain in their new homes I try to work on their bad habits. I have spoken to many trainers and the suggestion is that worked best. I was also told to get a water pistol and squrt when they did, but many found them to be a game that fun and it did not work so well, but can trick works most of the time. Good luck!
