Doberman or Rottweiler?
I want a dog that is intelligent, loyal, need exercise (me too, lol), protective of his family, loving and beautiful, so I decided a Dobie or Rottie. I know that these dogs have a bad reputation for being violent and vicious, but I blame owners, not dogs. I had 4 dogs and learned to train them by reading over 40 books, watching hours of videos, and Dog Whisperer. I know this does not make me a pro, but I also found some puppy classes that meet once a week for a couple hours my community. I found two ranchers, highly recommended by local trainers and friends who have Dobies and Rotter. I'm torn between the two races! This will be the first family dog with AD, the shadow died 3 years ago when I finished college. I know I'm ready for one of these 2, but how do I decide which one to get? I forgot, my garden is fenced, but not too big, but we have a park where we can take off leash and play fetch, and, recently, I ran and I would like the company.
Best Hi Josh, a Rottweiler would bet between these to. Rottweiler dogs are very sweet and love to be around people. They are intelligent and easily trained.But if you want someone to go running with you and stay with you at all times, i would go with a Border Collie. great family dog, very intelligent, easily trained and obey every crook you give him or her. Very great protector of the family especially one who trains him or her. Border Collies are all around dog, you can not beat having Border Collie Friend.I My guess now you know I have a border Collie .. Hehe .. Your friend, poppy1
