What are the best treats for dogs? Does this work for training leave my dog?
Howdy! So my dog has a high prey SUPER car, and it is our loss when it comes to walking on a leash. Any time there is around, it is not bad at all. It draws from time to time, but only give something a quick sniff before she arrives. She is protective of me, she loves to stay close, too. But if a little animal, she goes crazy! It's like she can not even hear the more it is so focused on the damn thing. I try teach him to not be so focused (is that possible?) on the little beast, but I do not find things she likes best! It does that under normal circumstances, but when it happens, it would be rather than eat any further treatment. Have you any idea what I can use it as a treat for her, or what is a super delicious taste treat smelly I can try to use it? I try something new almost every time, but it would be nice to have just a hint of what to try.
Thanks!
I like Charlee Bears for training, they come in different flavors. Pet Co sells the bag bonus for the same price as the regular bag, but it is not always filled with treats. I would say clicker training. The clicker can snap her out of her agenda when she goes Berserk. When puppies are first little, I practice with the leash. In the house, I let it drape on them and try to call me. Outside, I practice in my fenced backyard for about a month before the graduates puppy on the street. I could drape leaves them on the puppy and give him to follow me, or drag the leaves on the ground and see if he will follow me and try to grab the lead. There are many things in my backyard that scare a puppy, so it is easier to treat, or correct problems when I'm in my backyard and not in the street. We have walking tours in the court and deal with fiction, it rises. Maybe around 3-month-old that I could try to cut the leash to the collar, but if there is too much protest, I let it fall. They have just better with the leash around 4 to 5-month-old. Anyway, I use the commands "go" when I want to "go" and if the dog tugs on a leash, I stop and say "wait". It is my foot and we're going as fast as I can walk and no more. If I want to "wait" and look at a flower, change the batteries in my walkman, count to ten, then I do, it's my foot. When I'm ready, I say "go" and we "go" again. When the dog pulls on the leash, I stop and say "wait" and we stop again, even if we just to see two stages. I praise the puppy when he is good and soothing for him and encourage him to speak when it's good if he continues to do so. It takes several rounds of "Go" and "wait" until he moved, and when the march is over, I'm a huge uproar and clapping and then they play some time. They do not walk at first, but they love the stories at the end. I have to say "go" and "wait" to again tomorrow, but it does not take me more time to make him understand what I want from him. I also was a house dog and the owner thought he had problems on a leash, and the dog just does not like being at the front. It worked very well with my dogs as long as it could be part of the group, but he will not be at the front. If you have a family member or neighbor who has a dog that works well, see if you can practice with them. I also had a dog that did not leave maroon, or pink, but very well with blue leaves. Sometimes puppies are only puppies.
