perfect dog?
i am looking for the perfect dog. i am 13 and my mom said i can get another dog if i take care of it. i want a dog thats small. dosent shed alot. wont get upset if i leave it in a cage while im in school. easy to train. i want a dog thats friendly and dosent bark allot. can u possibly find the dog u recommend at a shelter near ny,nj, or ri
I would definately agree, petfinder is great and the dogs usually have foster parents that can tell you what kind of personality they have, if they are energetic or mellow, if they get along with other animals, stuff like that. I would get a terrier more than a toy dog just cause i've found toy's to get really barky. But, it all comes down to training. Any dog is easy to train if you stick to your guns and dont let them get away with stuff. Its when you start slacking that they try to see how far they can push you. Most people have to keep their pets home alone while at work or school, it doesnt make you a bad person. Just make sure to give lots of love and attention and play, go for walks when you get home.
