Scots law - where does the law stand on the big dogs free? My 2 year old has a fear of dogs anyway?
but this morning when he tried to leave my home, a young boy (about 6) of the house across the road (1 of 2 houses that cause some degree of antisocial behavior - and ruin a culture otherwise quiet dead end in a good area) had his German shepherd dog free. The dog barked and excited jumping wildly. I asked him to take the dog home, etc, but he just could not control it - I'm very happy with this situation. When really the position of the legislation on the big dogs / tips, etc. that can be claimed if this becomes a pattern?
I'm not sure Scotland, but can not be much different from USA. Most places require that all dogs that are released unless they are the property of their respective owners. I would contact local authorities in implementation of the law.
