Tips on training puppy German Shepard?

I adopted the most beautiful little German Shepard puppy from an animal shelter and I'd be a great their mother. However, I am finding it difficult to train them because everytime they do something "bad" I do not want them feeling like I hate them or anything. I want them to learn how to be good dogs, though, not just a harsh way. Can anyone give me some good tips on Puppy Training and tough love? I need to know the basics such as: 1. How to walk them without pulling them away 2. How to train them not to potty in the house 3. How to consistantly not bark & Any other advice anyone could give me! Thanks! You can be a mother to your pets. Using the term "owner" makes it seem like you can own a life. No one can "own" a life.

I practice the leash in my back yard, we walk laps, when they can handle the stress of my back yard, they can graduate on the road. I only allow them a little leash so they walk beside me, not ahead of me. If they pull on a leash, I stop and say "Wait", and wait until we decide me to "go" again. This is my way, we go as fast as I can walk, not faster. If they pull, I say "Wait!" again, although we have taken only two steps. You can stop and change directions to distract them. For "no see" I said no clear until the puppy and stops when the puppy stops I say "good girl" You have to teach them what behaviors you allow, and which you do not and compliment them when doing They good. For jumping, I say "no jumping" to lift the legs off me and the puppy dance backwards. When the puppy sits, say "good boy" They do not want to be danced backward, so that does not take long to teach. I use a crate * to potty train, but only for Potty Training and then I break it down and store it. I put blankets and a little food and water dish in the crate. Dogs do not potty where they eat and sleep. When they are first little, I just expected them to hold their potty for 4 hours, then 6 hours, then 8 hours and more. So when they are first little, I set a timer or alarm clock to wake myself up at night to take them * out. I only allow my puppy in the bedroom * or the hall, only one room at a time. They have to go the extra space. If I allow them to have full run of the house will be filled with them. I take it the same door each time. I tie a dinner bell on the door handle. Do not use a jingle bell as they get their toes caught in this. So when they were little, I call bell for them, and then open the door to go * outside to potty. If you get them bigger, I take their feet and slap the bell and open the door to go potty. Eventually getting to the place where the puppy will ring the bell and let me know when they need to go potty. Dogs want to please you, so it is your job to let them know what behaviors please you and what is not. So when my puppy goes potty, I give her a treat *, and clap, and make a fuss and praise her. So she learns that going potty outside makes me happy. If he has an accident, make a disgust sound like "tsst" and takes her out immediately. I do not yell * or spank * my puppies. Take them when they first wake up, after they eat or drink, before nap, finish The romping, when their activities change, or if they are sniffing around. Some puppies go pee right away, but may not go poop until 10 minutes later, so wait for the shit .. I have a little time playing here, because sometimes I think they are done, and they do not. Puppies train at their own pace. While I could have a puppy that has not had an accident several weeks, I let my guard down. I do not expect my puppy to be "fully to be potty trained "until one-year-old. If they have a setback, shake it off, and start over. I only crate my puppy when I'm watching them. When I was sleeping, cooking, ironing, doing chores, when I'm not really watching him. All other times, he is out of the crate training being a "big girl." This time I train her how to behave at home. So we will practice the "no cry", "no pain", " no jumping ", and" not eat the furniture. "I also have to practice" playing inside "so he did not knock over things. You must keep the puppy in sight when they are little because they do not know the difference between newspaper and carpet, and you do not want them sneaking off and getting into trouble. Some puppies can sleep through the night around 3-months-old, but their bladder is grown around 6-months-old. revisions: * I use a crate to train with. This is the way I prefer, compared to other methods I have tried. I noticed that if they are in the crate, while I am doing chores, they are ok, because the crate allows them to see me and re-sure. The crate can also be a comfort when stored under for dogs who live in areas where thunderstorms and tornados are an issue. . However, use the method that works best for you ..... a laundry basket, carton a box, a woof-woof house, x-pen, child gates, whatever works for you. * OUTSIDE, pee pad, litter box, whichever method you use. When the puppy first little, keep the pee pad, litter box near the food and water dish, so the puppy can eat and drink, and then go potty. You can move it as remotely they get older. The pee pad has a scent that smells and began potty. Sometimes a pee pad makes a sound that scares some puppies, so you may want to use a litter box if that happens. The pee pad allows a puppy to walk around, but a litter box keeps the puppy in one place. * Sleeping, use I bedroom and living room for training, because it works for me. Select the room that works for you, but watch for rooms that are damp or drafty. While my puppies sleep in the bedroom during training, once they are trained, I let them sleep where they want to. they do not have to sleep in the bedroom everlasting. Treats *. While I use treats for training, you do not have. I Charlee Bears for training (a little cracker for a little mouth,) use I have them for training, but once they are trained, I cut back on it. * SOME puppy will go potty in the same place every time. Some have become puppy Told to go potty. A command like "go out" for pee, or "go finish" for poop, might work for you, keep saying "go finish" until the puppy poops. It is a good thing to train if you travel with your dog. By using commands, the puppy not get confused when you are going to someone, on vacation with you, or when you get to a new home. The command will tell them what you want them to do in an unknown place. You may also want to use a leash method, so the puppy does not sneak off, or for strange places. * Yelling. It is not a good idea to "yell" or "spank" your puppy and then take them out when they have an accident. They may get confused and think that going out is penalties. While you want to correct them, if you are extreme, they may not want to go out again. Cock you, off, and resume your schedule. You have to keep it real. Puppies train at their own pace, but a puppy can only hold their potty some time. A guide will be 1 hour for each month of age, plus 1 hour, so a three-month-old puppy should only expect to hold their potty for 4 hours at most.
