How Do You Train A Puppie To Shake Paws? I Tryed But They Just Sniff My Hand For A Treat, And I Can't Get Them To Do It.
First you need to be sure your dog knows the sit and stay..You do those by getting them to sit and praise them and then give them a treat..We just used her Kibble..Once they know that then get your dog to sit and say shake, then taker her paw pump it once and give the dog a treat..repeat at least 3 times a day for a week..mine had it in just one session..the more you do it the easier they will remember it..also let the dog play for awhile first..you don't want to try and train it when its full of energy and just wants to play..Never scold it if it doesn't do it just keep repeating and praising it..
