
Nice Dog Australian Terrier
The Australian Terrier is a small sized dog breed terrier type. The breed was developed Australia, although the ancestral types of the breed of dogs that came down in Britain.
Appearance
The Australian Terrier is a small dog with short legs, weigh about approx. 6.5 kg (14 lbs) and standing about 25 cm (10 inches). At the withers, with an average length shaggy haired double which is not normally stocked. The fur is shorter on the muzzle, lower legs and feet, and there is a collar around the neck. The coat colors are shades blue or red color with a lighter bun, and with marks on the face, ears, body and legs of a color described in the breed standard as "tan, Never sand. History
The Australian terrier is descended from rough coated terriers type brought from Britain to Australia in early 1800. Ancestral types of these breeds have been maintained to eradicate mice and rats. Australian equities with the ancestors Terrier Cairn Terrier, Skye Terrier Shorthaired, and the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier Terrier and Ireland have also entered the dog during the development of the breed.
Development of the breed began about 1820 in Tasmania, and dogs were initially called the wirehaired terrier. The breed was officially recognized with the creation of the first breed club in 1887 and the breed was recognized as the Australian Terrier in 1892. The Australian Terrier was shown at a dog show for the first time in 1903 in Melbourne, and was also shown in Britain about the same time. The Kennel Club (UK) recognized the breed in 1933. The American Kennel Club recognized the Bull Terrier in 1960 and the United Kennel Club (USA) in 1969. It is now recognized by all major kennel clubs in the English speaking world, and is also listed by various kennel clubs and miners other clubs and registries.
