Dogs and beaches Orange County / cities?
We're going on holiday to the Orange County area and I know that Huntington beach has a dog of a road to the road ... and I know that dogs are only allowed on beaches before 8am and after 17 hours (I think have that right !)...... My question is what are the best places to go w / your dog? If we ate on the patio somewhere, or we were about a discarded equipment ..... what are some of the most "dog love"? Our puppy is almost 1 year old and he is very well behaved and trained. I am not worried about him .... I do not want to offend others by making it somewhere that is not cool to do (because I am just a visitor). Ugh - I said I understand the burdens of time / dogs on the beach. If I took my dog through the training I would not be responsible enough to pick up after him? I found several restaurants OC dogs welcome - I just wanted to know if this was the norm or not.
Yes Huntington has a nice dog beach immediately PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) You can also take your dog up on the tracks of dogs that are the Hollywood sign (I think its called park Runion) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runyon_Canyon_Park El Segundo has a decent dog park and being outside the Redondo Beach 190th Street almost every other area beaches Southern California does not allow dogs on beaches all
