Puppy Training: sore fingers?
We are taking our 3 1 / 2 month old pup to training classes and homework given. He has to follow treat those that remain in the heel. He follows the treat right, he is biting at our hands excitedly to get to the doctor. Of course, painful. The other pups in the class is not doing it. These are just following the doctor and only have it when their owners pop it in their mouth. How can I stop biting my little one in our hands? It is slowing down our progress.
try to get her to take treats gently 1. I have a black lab which is known to get excited, and used to do the same, we then had to get her to get the treats and snacks if he went to them from us we would move our hand away and say "mild", he soon got the message when he took it well when he got it didn't he, he didn't get it. We then moved on to walk to heel. 2 years later he was a pleasure to walk. Bless my friend look:)
